On the balcony, although they advertise a working jacuzzi, there are only two chaise lounges and a table. There is a fridge in the room but no coffee maker- and, for the coffee lovers, this place is a challenge because the only place that makes it is, again, the restaurant on the top floor (between 7 am and 10 pm). Water pressure is excellent, there was no smell or mold, the towels were clean and changed daily. There's also a pool bar and they serve some food there, between 10 am and 5 pm (like tacos, burritos, wings, and fries). There are 4 floors and the restaurant is located on the top one. The hotel doesn't have a working elevator. Although the hotel looks pretty old, the cleaning people are doing their best, there are no complaints about that. Customer service is very good but the fact that there are no phones in the rooms and the only way you can contact someone is thru Whatsapp makes you a little bit uncomfortable. The lobby is average, open and that's why is hot. The beach is not private, it is shared with some private residences on the left and with the Iberostar Resort, on the right (I believe that's, actually, theirs). The hotel doesn't have a walking-around secured area as all the resorts have- you get there with a vehicle of your choice, you check in an open Lobby, and then you can either go to your room, go to the pool or walk to the near beach, thru the pool area. It is NOT a resort and I will explain why. Located just a half-hour away from the Cancun Airport, this place is in fact a hotel that offers food. The only thing that was always on point is the staff. You can't even go out without paying 130$ for a taxi. Absolutely nothing to do, zero entertainment. Guys we stayed there for 2 weeks and it got boring on day 3. We had to listen to horrible music everyday from 8am and on top of that they were renovating next room from morning till very late at night. They are also very surprised when you ask for a slice of toasted bread. The food was good but the restaurant doesn't usually have what's on the menu. Sheets were smelly, pillows had stains, so did the towels. If you asked for a cleaning service at 10am, you'll have to wait till 3pm even though staff said "in a few minutes". Another thing that surprised us was the lack of organization. Trips to the city that are free were boring and we were sworn by local shop owners. Isn't this an all inclusive resort?), everyone expects tips. Everything costs extra (Even delivering food to your room which was shocking. There's absolutely nothing to do besides eating, going to the pool and hanging out in your room. The overall stay at this place was very disappointing.
